A proper little workspace.

✳ SMALL COMPUTER. BIG PERSONALITY.
That lovely little-laptop feeling. Now in your pocket. A browser, a keyboard, a trackpad — and a good reason to open your iPhone.

01 / Designed to feel a little different.
Clammy brings the character of a tiny computer to browsing. On iPhone Duo, the page sits above your keyboard and trackpad. On other iPhones and iPad, a familiar browser is ready from the start.
Your page above. Your controls below. The laptop layout gives your fingers their own place, with a pointer, keyboard and two-finger scrolling.
One finger points. Two fingers scroll. Pinch to zoom. Once a gesture finds its purpose, it keeps it until your fingers lift.
Use the standard browser layout on other iPhones and iPad. Native text entry and AutoFill stay available for forms and sign-ins.
02 / GO ON. MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME.
Pick a finish. Add a couple of gloriously nostalgic laptop stickers. Even a tiny workspace deserves a personality.
Try a finish or move your finger across the trackpad below. This is a playful website demo; it doesn’t browse or send text.

On iPhone Duo, open into your little workspace. Close it and Clammy returns to its welcome screen. Your browsing session stays in the app while you change its pose.
No hinge? No problem. Start with the full-page browser and system keyboard, then choose Laptop mode whenever you want the netbook experience.
On iPad, the standard browser follows your available window space. Switch to the laptop layout in portrait for the keyboard and trackpad.
LESS BAGGAGE. MORE BROWSING.
Clammy uses temporary website storage. Choose session cookies or block cookies, and start a new session to clear the old one. No developer account. No built-in advertising or analytics SDK.
Temporary storage isn’t anonymity. Websites still receive your requests, and cookie blocking doesn’t block every kind of website storage.

Clammy is being prepared for release. There is no public download link on this site yet. Email hello@clammy.uk for availability or questions; there is no automatic mailing-list sign-up.
No. iPhone Duo has the hinge-aware laptop experience and its closed-device welcome screen. Other compatible iPhones and iPad use the standard browser, with an optional Laptop mode.
The current project targets iOS and iPadOS 27 or later. Duo hinge features require iOS 27.1 or later. Final supported devices and requirements will be confirmed with the release.
The laptop keys are part of the Clammy experience. Web forms can still use the system keyboard, AutoFill and password tools. In standard browser mode, address entry uses the system keyboard.
Clammy replaces the browsing session, including the current page, website data and that web view’s navigation history. Appearance and trackpad preferences stay saved. Data already held by websites is not deleted.
Clammy is a WebKit browser with a laptop-inspired interface, not a desktop operating system. Some websites, pop-ups and embedded panels may behave differently from a desktop browser.
